HTM, a prominent helicopter operator based in Germany, has announced a strategic partnership with Moove, an aviation technology start-up, to deploy a dedicated digital booking and scheduling platform across its helicopter operations. This initiative will facilitate HTM's expansion into VIP charter services while enhancing its existing helicopter activities with technology specifically designed for high-frequency rotorcraft flights, including instant booking capabilities.
Jakob Meyer-Bender, Director of Business Development at HTM, stated, “In helicopter operations, the provision of a seamless booking experience has the potential to significantly expand our market presence. With Moove, we are able to offer flights with a single click while digitizing flight execution, thereby providing our team with a clear operational overview and fostering seamless interactions with our discerning clients.”
The technology being implemented is customized to accommodate the specific mission profiles and sales dynamics inherent to helicopter operations. HTM's services across Germany, Europe, and Switzerland require constant adaptability, particularly in response to last-minute flight requests and short turnaround times. The company will integrate branded booking interfaces and door-to-door simulations into its newly designed website, thereby centralizing passenger management through a customer portal.
HTM intends to leverage Moove's platform to support its growing range of operations, which includes point-to-point corporate travel and shuttle flights for notable national and international events, such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends.
Arthur Ingles, CEO and Co-Founder of Moove, remarked, “Helicopter operations are characterized by constraints that are markedly different from those faced by fixed-wing aviation, where the digitization of booking and distribution represents a profound transformation. We take pride in our collaborative efforts to advance innovation in this field.”
The platform optimizes door-to-door air mobility, encompassing the entire journey from booking to boarding. It supports HTM's sales and operational teams by enabling enhanced rotation planning across multiple rotorcraft, accounting for aircraft availability, flight durations, positioning flights, and crew coordination. By accommodating both charter and seat-based flight logic, the system facilitates the pooling of passengers, thereby improving rotorcraft utilization.
Antoine Awaida, CTO and Co-Founder of Moove, noted, “Our software is also aimed at streamlining operations. For helicopter operators, this translates into expedited trip creation, improved rotation planning, and better coordination among flight crews, dispatch, and passengers.”
Moove offers HTM a comprehensive digital passenger journey tailored to the company's stringent operational processes, facilitating end-to-end coordination of helicopter operations from booking to boarding. By integrating booking, passenger data, and mission execution into a single system, HTM is able to enhance coordination across teams while maintaining the flexibility required in professional rotary-wing aviation.
HTM is scheduled to present this new digital capability, in collaboration with Moove, at AERO Friedrichshafen. The helicopter fleet will also be showcased during the static display at the aviation fair in April 2026.
